OK.. first questions first :)
You asked how you can delete the animation on the girl rig, so you can start from scratch.
The ultimate answer for this is: /by the way I have told you how you can delete everything on a rig , but i`ll say it again now :) so be carefull this time!/
1.Open the Scene Editor
2.Expand everything! and by "everything" I really mean EVERYTHING! You must see every little bone, null, object on the rig.
3. Select the top mesh/object/ - in that case it would be the null "main" and shift select everything to the bottom of the Scene Editor. Lightwave won`t allow you to select something different than the first picked object type /that would be type "Object" / so you can`t select cameras, lights and .....BONES. But that`s ok because you don`t need to. In lightwave when you select a mesh deformed by bones, and after that you want to see every curve in the Graph Editor, it automatically displays the bone`s curves too.
4. So... after you`ve selected everything , open the Graph Editor , press "Shift+g" - that would be "Get layout selected" - what that basically does is displays every curve that selected objects has.
5. press Ctrl+Up Arrow - that will select every curve in the Graph Editor /because there are a lot!/
6. Select all the KeyFrames except the ones at frame 0 and delete them!
7. Enjoy the new free of animation rig!
If you have questions, please ask :)

You asked me where you can find free Lightwave Rigs. I promised you to post them here. So I found some links to a free rigs.
Most of them are from CGTalk threads. I`ll just post the links to those
threads and add a brief explanation of what they are, but you will
still need
to check them to download the rigs from there :) That`s because I want
to teach you to use the internet.... not just ask someone who knows :P
I also decided to point you to some nice plugins about rigging.
And last but not least - please, write comments , questions , or appreciations haha :P down. I want to make this Blog/site
as interactive as I can . By interactive I mean, not just me writing
something here and there like monologue, but the readers to point their
questions /I know you have many :)/ and I can answer you directly to
them!
On to the topic now:
1. Free woman rig, the one you saw at work - made by Tudor. Only for personal use!
http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?t=32891
2. Free IK Leg and Arm Rigs. Nice thread because a lot of people had
posted their own arm/leg rigs. I recomend reading all of it to see
possible solutions to problems like IK Flipping
http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?t=310091
3. Human rig by Ardee. It`s in the Newtek Forum. ahh.. and it uses
RV_Spine plugin (you need to register on the site to be able to download it). Very nice plugin for spline IK , wich is something
not implemented in the standard
Lightwave Package. I have always missed Spline IK in lightwave :(. I
have used this plugin a lot, and I can say it`s fantastic! The only
problem i can remember right now is that the bones had to be in
specific orientation to work fine. You must read the
notes So to use this rig you must install this plugin first, otherwise
LW will ask where it is. The author`s idea came from XSI`s Isner Spine
- more info about it here.
For those of you who haven`t heard what spline IK is - it is
basically a simple IK bone hierarchy, but not driven by an IK controls
like Nulls,
but instead uses a spline /curve/ to solve the solution. So you modify
the spline and the Joints follow the spline on top of it.
http://www.newtek.com/forums/showthread.php?t=34548
4. Stretchy Joints in lightwave! Haven`t tested that plugin, but I have
always wanted a Stretchy IK or stretchy bones here. Why all the
animators want Stretchy Joints... Well here is the answer:
One of the most important principles in animation is Squash and
Stretch. That`s something Disney learned us, and that`s something the
good animators use.. and I`ll slap you if you don`t :)
Of course that principle is mostly visible in the cartoon animation,
where the characters become flat when they fall on the ground and
stretch when someone is pulling their hands out :) But it is usefull in
the visual effects animation as well! Don`t believe someone who says
the opposite! It always give that slight sense of weight more visible ,
when you use it properly. So when the people started using computers to
make animation , at the beggining everything seemed stiff and ugly.
That`s because the volume of the characters was always the same. There
was NO squash and stretch. And why? Well simply because
to deform the characters we use bones. And the bones as we know MUST
NOT BE STRETCHED. Well that`s not always true :) There are some tricks
and plugins available nowadays that make the
stretching of the bones possible and easy. And most important- FUN to use! Ha!
So here is a plugin that makes that:
http://www.newtek.com/forums/showpost.php?p=263660&postcount=62
5. And here is a site I recommend - www.Flay.com. Site for huge resources of Lightwave plugins!
6. If I find something else usefull I will post it here. And I`ll say
it again: If you have questions or answers or whatever :) post it
bellow. I`ll be glad to answer you. What I like
most of all is sharing information. Because that`s how I learned
everything I know- from someone else... well not everything :) but...

Here are some pictures I want to share with you. They are made by Niki - an ex colleague of mine who was an editor in our studio. He was in Boyana that night and he made some shots of Sofia , celebrating the entering in European Union. Cool! I wasn`t able to see all this because I was out of town... in the mountains as usual! I love mountains in the winter! But anyway, here are some pics you might enjoy!

So ... I was teaching some students today. Again. I was talking about rigging, and they were quite nice and were asking so many questions and were so interested, that I felt very nice . They were laughing.... not At me, but With me /like Jason Schleifer says / So it seems it was interesting for them. Right guys ? If you are reading this ... /shhhhhhtt... I gave them my site adress to check it out and click on the Google Ads.... Too bad I don`t have google ads on my site :( I could win some 20 cents from them now :D / Sooo if you are reading this and you liked my presentation about joints , bones, weights and controls you can post me a "You were Great Teacher. I like you very much " comment I`m just kidding! But don`t forget about the "You are total Pro!" comment :D I`m kidding again.... No seriously... stop it! Ok that`s it.
PS: I forgot to tell them my site is in English...

That's something interesting:
Eric Hanson and Greg Downing (if you don`t know who they are - click on the names ) have launched a project called XRez.com - website for gigapixel panoramas shot around the world.
from VFXWorld.com:
Co-founder Downing says, "The exciting part is putting these images in front of an audience. When we last showed one of our 18-foot long, 75,000 pixel prints, people spent 20 minutes looking at one photograph exploring all the detail. That is not something you often see in a gallery setting, and the online experience is just as compelling."
But you should check it for yourself :) Double click to zoom in the photos :) .. and check out the Gallery too! There are interesting quicktimes (At least for those in the matte painting and digital extension branch.) and other zoom-ins :D I call them zoom-ins....large scale panoramic images sounds ...large..
Zoomins is better.
